You are almost there.Don't give up yet it is still worth the try.I just bend alot of emt at work on a consistent basis and it is very easy to bend.1 inch emt is a little stronger but rigid is the strongest.You can always use self tapping screws in your nets to hold them on ther.Just be cautios on how many you use as they will weaken it also.Good luck with it. -
