  • hey thanks a ton man i looked on google maps for them and drove around some but i was looking too far north. are they off of 37 past the DQ or 144? and do you know who owns the land or have you ever gotten in trouble for riding there?
what? removing the oil injection? its jsut to make sure there is no questions about the engine getting enough oil.
i came here knowing NOTHING and with the help of others learned alot, just trying to give a little back!! lol
yup, remove the pump cover and take the oil pump out, remove the little plastic gear thats in there and the chaft the goes into the motor, it just comes right out.. then reinstall teh stripped pump and voilla no more oil injection. then remove all the lines and put vacuum caps where they used to go. YOU MUST PUT A NIPPLE ON THE SPOT WHERE THE OIL GOES INTO THE CARB OR ITS A MASSIVE AIR LEAK!!!!! thats the most important part lol
no problem man, i came here as new and fresh s they come lol this blaster is my first quad and i bought it as a frame with wheels for 50 bucks and then went from there.
if there is any sort of scarring on the cylinder wall which i suspect there is you NEED to take the cylinder off and take it to the machine shop and let them tell you how far it needs to be bored to clean up the damage. then you will order that size piston and when it comes you will take that piston and the cylinder to the shop and they will bore it to fit THAT piston perfectly. any other method is unacceptable and wont work right.
haha i got ya lol. all i can say is look around, there are lots of nice rides here. what i have listed as mods in my sig are all great upgrades but not even close to being the best. except my motor lol :). you gotta figure blasters were designed to be a bottom of the barrel entry level quad so to get the most out of em basically everything needs to be improved. and yeah if you blew it up its gonna need a bore, if you dont have a quality local shop i would send it off to ken oconnor through here. his turn around tim eis real good and he does quality work. for porting i would have to recomend flotek, he is so busy his turn around time is kinda sh*tty but it is worth the wait i assure you
whta do you mean by setup? if you mean straight engine work tht all depends on what you want to spend.. you can get it back and running for around $200 for a new piston kit and a bore job. BUT if you want power my setup is pretty sick, +3 stroker crank and flotek aggressive port job. a stock blaster has about 16hp my setup has around 35hp. im on here alot so if you ever need anything just ask
