Awk can you give a part number for the hubs that are 4 on 115 bolt pattern and will fit the stock blaster spline ?

Especially what year are the 4x155 mm hubs for banshee’s? I’ve been told some years are 4x156. Thanks Tooloose

Hey are you still selling those leak down testers? I put in a new sudco carb and I’m still having high idle issues. Idle is all over the place.

Hey awk08... whats your opinion on the diamond j widening kit trail riding

I've not heard of any breaking ever, but do kinda remember something about alot of bumpsteer, I think that's the tires cocking on their own over heavy terrain or landing jumps. the geometry just isn't right. I'd go with a wider budget a-arm over that kit anyday

Hey Awk! I'm getting ready to put a new piston( Wisco pro lite stock) replacement ( stock )66 mil. Is the compression ratio higher with this prolite piston? The the current piston is a China replacement Stock piston kit. It has relief on the piston top, facing the exhaust port.
      1. Awk08
        Awk08
I don't believe there are any pistons that advertise increased compression, we have learned raising compression without adjusting the squish band and combustion chamber of the head is a risk for detonation and frying the piston. if you're looking for more compression, the Ken Oconnor Racing head mod is the way to go. .... http://kenoconnorracing.com/ns/pricing

Hey awk, where can I get 2 9" rear steel rims that aren't bent for the blaster. Seems to be easier to get 9" tire than 8s especially when you buy all 4 sets
      1. Awk08
        Awk08
I'm not sure I've ever seen steel rims in 9" ? Maybe on Rocky Mt. ATV ? I can tell you from experience the stock 9" Banshee/YFZ/Raptor aluminum rims with the rolled lip are stronger than the steel blaster rims.

9" definitely has a broader tire selection, and is why alot of us run the 9" Yamaha aluminum rims, you'll need the axle hubs too, they are a 4x115 bolt pattern, stock blaster hubs and rims are 4x100

just remembered, I think someone on ebay sales a spring/ball rebuild kit for banshees, it includes some extra part we don't need, but i've heard the spring and ball will work for our kickers ?

Well, after removing the kicker, I noticed the shaft is grooved and the return spring is extremely weak. Looks like I will have to replace or rebuild the whole kicker internals. I was thinking of a total rebuild or replacement. I don't have a lot of cash to do the job right now. I'll deal with it for now.

the main jet has zero effect on how smooth the idle, low end or mids are, they are handled by the pilot/airscrew and needle. main jet only effects above 3/4 throttle.

if you're trying to smooth out a stumble or bog with a power jet ? you need to tune those circuits where the bog is, not mask it with a power jet.

maybe we're all missing the secret benefits of a power jet that you know of and we don't ? or is what you posted above copied and pasted from an ad trying to sale you something you don't really need ? because it sure sounds like it. :)
