  • i did not see or feel any reason to have it serviced
    a shock service from works would guarentee you years of trouble free service from it
    btw, that shock was very good to me, and i never suspected anything wrong with it, or i would have fixed it for my own use, it'd still be on my bike if i hadn't found an elka stage 3 for $330, to match my front elkas
    i never checked the nitrogen in that shock, not even sure what gauge is needed to do so, or how many psi should be in there ???
    i did not drain it.
    most any dealership, race shop can refill it for you.
    i'd call or email "works performance" for the suggested psi.

    and yes i have a solution for the cable bracket cut from the frame, i use a different longer bracket that connects to the peg bolt instead of that missing bracket
    be sure you include that info when/if you decide to pull the trigger on my brake kit
