Oil Injection Question

I recently purchased a Yamaha Blaster. The blaster still has the factory oil injection system and is running mixed gas. I filled the reservoir with yamalube 2 cycle oil and disconnected the oil line from the carb. I fired up the quad with the line disconnected. I watched a drop of oil come out of the line about every 10-15 seconds while the quad was at idle speed. Is this a normal amount of oil at idle speed?

still has the factory oil injection system and is running mixed gas.

you can't run both injection and mix, it would have to be running like poo and probably fouling plugs ?
and you also cannot run it with the line off the carb, unless you blocked it off ? it was a severe air leak.
you're this far, just delete the injectionm block off the nippple on the carb with an 1/8" vacuum cap, and keep mixing it 32:1 with a good oil designed for air cooled 2 strokes ....
Yamalube or Maxima Super M injection formula

Just make sure the oil you choose is for premix. Injection oil doesn’t stay in suspension as long.
