Finally got my motor done 240 vitos with the plus 3 stroker , I got k and n air filter, vforce4 reeds, b1 toomey pipe n silencer, mixed gas at 32:1 heavy for the first gallon, tors is deleted, and I’m running a stock carb with blue needle on second clip up from bottom with a 360 main and 35 pilot, my idle screws all the way in and it’s just holding an idle, runs through the gears great but plugs coming out blackness dry, change the main it don’t effect the idle screw, needle either, any help would be appreciated!! What’s anyone running for jets that has close to what I have for mods? Am I in the ball park? Scared to blow it!!!

I can't recall anyone having any luck running a stock carb with a built 240 engine
I highly suggest you look into a 35/36mm carb and intake, then you'll find all the jetting info you need.

heavy for the first gallon < you also just leaned out the air/fuel ratio, more oil = less fuel
less fuel = boom

I thought I seen in the carb section ppl saying they had better luck with the stock carbs, what kind of carb do u recommend? I’m not rich but I’d spend a couple hundred or so on one if that’s my issue I want it to run at it’s potential

Where's your air screw mixture set at?
The blue needle runs rich on most pipes
Other than the fat basterd.

Awsome thanks for the reply, my air screw is still at stock settings I’m not firmiliar with how to adjust the air, idle is all the way in n I’m using the blue needle on the second clip up from bottom, is the 35 mm air striker a good choice? Thanks again for the help
