Stall it in gear.
It is advisable to fix the kill switch though.
In case throttle sticks:eek:

Didn’t get anything done today, I’m basically just waiting around for the exhaust and nerf bars to come in. Today, I also ordered the +3 Alba racing extended a arms today.
Tomorrow I have to order some OEM front sprocket bolts, I lost one of mine.

Getting close to the finish line.

Feels like it. Waiting on the rest of the parts. I kind of wish I went with the +4 instead of the +3 but I don’t think I’d be able to fit out of my yard gates.

I’m going to put it all together and then eventually swap out the suspension/swing arm/axle, what not. Get it all up and running then change some things slowly after that. I’m already around 3500 including the cost of the bike.

It can add up. But if you plan on keeping and enjoying it. Then imo it doesn't matter about the money to get it the way you want it

At first, the point was to buy it. Play with it then sell it in a week. Got caught up in a project. Usually I sell everything for profit, but this time I think I’ve accepted my losses and just going to keep it.

Didn’t get to do any work today. Still waiting on everything I’ve ordered. These shipping times are killing me.

I ordered a primary drive o-ring chain, front and rear sprocket today. It looks like the Alba a arms are going to be the first thing delivered (Saturday). The last thing I ordered too, go figure..

Received the first of many parts (and the last thing I ordered a few days ago, ironic). Primary drive o ring chain, and front and rear stock tooth sprockets. I also ordered an OEM front sprocket holder and the bolts. I’ll probably put this on soon.

Gona be like Christmas:)

Yes sir. :D

Do you have any recommendations on how to get the stock brakes to work? I was planning on switching to hydro, but ordered XFR nerf bars for a 01, don’t feel like having to fab or weld anything. I also plan on doing a banshee axle eventually. But, I’d like to just keep it simple and be able to bolt up the stock cable brakes for simplicity. I’m not sure which part of the brake failed, are there kits out there to fix the stock brakes? I know everyone just switched them out but I’d like to avoid that.

Front or back.
The back you may want to check the cable to see if it is froze up. They also sell a short cable that most use.
If it's the caliper. I'm not sure if they have a kit.? I don't think so. I ditched the cable brakes along time ago.
May need to take it apart and clean it. You can get oem replacment parts

Might take it apart and see what happens. I know when I compress the pedal, nothing happens in the back end. Not familiar at all with brakes, let’s see if I can figure it out.

Well, I’ve decided to part ways with my project. In my area (Long Island) there isn’t really anywhere to ride and I would be spending 5k on a quad that I would likely be able to ride 1-2 times a year.
Unfortunately, I am selling and parting out my project to try and make up for the huge loss.

I will be selling my motor built by KOR:

New main bearings, rebuilt vitos stock crankshaft, ported cylinder with fresh bore, modified head, new seals and OEM gaskets, new clips and washers, new wiseco piston kit. New stainless steel bolt kit, shift cam, counter balance shaft, repaired shift shaft, clutch washer and new drain bolt. I am asking 1200 hopefully pick up in NY otherwise, buyer pays shipping. Let me know! Thanks for all of the help, it’s been fun!

ha ha. That is top priority this time. :D

will be doing heat cycles for sure, spoke to Ken yesterday about that.

he also balanced my crank, replaced bearings, main seals, along with the port, polish, and re chambered the head and wiseco piston kit. Should be a fun little blaster.

Hey was wondering how much the kor work was roughly? was thinking about doing all that

Well that was a sad ending.
I'm about to start a small project myself and was looking forward to seeing how this ended.
