First Blaster 1990

Not showing and external leaks.. floor is clean. Also I’m using the shee carb. I wonder if my float is off. Could that cause it not to start easy takes about 25 kicks but after that it runs good. 6th gear will kind of bog a bit. Using 230 main jet
Yes incorrect float hight.
Pluged pilot jet
Incorrect air screw setting
Bad reeds
Incorrect idle setting can all lead to hard starting.
Also a bad connection between seat and handlebars:D( which is you):p

I think you have to plug the choke crossover?

Not a plugged pilot jet just rebuilt it, reeds are brand new, I’ll check air screw settings. What do I need to clean up for the connection?

So the connection is good:D.
Just check what sizes The jets are. And the needle number. I think the needle# is 5j22? Can't remember off hand.
Needle in clip in middle position works on most setups.
Main jet # is important.have to jet for your pipe and any other mods.

Good catch on the axle nuts. I always check mine

Was able to jimmy rig it for now. Just wanted to rip. Talked to the guy from eBay he’s going to give me a discount on another carb since I cut the cable from tors and tried a new cap. Sorry the pics sideways.

Glad to see it running.Couldn't really tell on the sound?
What pipe is on it ? What main jet is in it?
It's very important to get the jetting right or you may not ride for to long:(
Read up on jetting and plug chops on the forum.
