Hi I’m new to the thread . And have a few questions thought maybe a few you fellas could chime in and help me out .. I purchased a pwk 28 mm from Vito blaster parts anyways. I have a fully rebuilt motor and boysen Reed stock bore fmf fatty pipe and fmf Silencer .I can get it to run nice with a 112 main and a 32 pilot with air screw half turn out but that seems lean to me .shouldn’t the air screw be at least 1.5 turns out if I do this it won’t idle .. and bogs Help please.. I know the motors sound it’s was just rebuilt .. HELP
The further you turn the air screw in the richer it makes it. 1/2 will be ok. It will still give you some adjustment for temp changes.
Or buy next size up pilot jet.

well dose a 112 sound lean on the main dose not seem to run hot or anything

I’m around 2700 feet stock bore fmf fatty with fmf silencer carb is a 28 pwk
Read up on plug chops. I would definitely check it. I run a kehin pj34. With a 162 main. At sea level. But that is with a ported stroked big bore. Last thing you want is to run too lean.

Would you think a 112 main would be to lean at 2700 feet like I said I have boysen reeds fmf fatty and fmf silencer aftermarket filter I just don’t really know lol I can plug chip tomorrow after work I just down understand why the air screw is at its prime at a half turn out intried a lager pilot it didn’t seem to help and im positive it has no air leaks

Your plug will give you your answer. Buy a 4pack or more of plugs. You can do half throttle plug chops also. Which is where most riding is done.
Main jet. Comes into play at3/4 to full throttle. The pipe and air filter will have and affect on jetting. Reeds normally don't affect jetting.
