I have a 2002 blaster bored out to a 240. It has a full FMF power core 2 exhaust, and vitos carbon fiber reeds. It has the oil injection delete and still has the OEM Mikuni carb on it. Even with the stock jet in it, it seems like it is running rich. Pulls super hard in first for a second and then bogs in every gear at full throttle. Any advice? We can’t get this machine to run right and it has good compression and passed the leak down test. Float height is set, needle and seat seal, stock needle, stock jet.

Check the reeds .they must seal tight against the cage. No chips, cracks, or pieces missing. Also check float height float needle valve and seat are clean

Air cleaner clean?
No mouse house in exhaust?

Unless you bought an aftermarket cylinder, you don’t have a 240. You have stock cylinder bored .040”, which doesn’t even make it a 200 !
(They’re only 195 to start with)

Reeds are brand new, sealing tightly. The entire carb was cleaned thoroughly. I’m really lost as to why it is acting up still. I’ve tried the blue needle too, to no success.

Pull fuel hose off carb . turn it on and see if you have a good solid flow. Tors is deleted? What type of air filter do you have. If it's a Chinese k&n take it off.and put on a foam filter. Someone on here had similar problems and it was the k&n knock off filter was the problem. Stock needle back in ?middle position. Sure needle valve is sealing good. Rubber on tip is good . soft and no wear line around it
