Just curious if the hose from the fuel switch to the carb has to be a certain length? I replaced the switch and the hose but the hose i ordered is about 2 inch longer. Should I cut it to the original length I had or is it just fine if its just alittle longer?

Leave it longer, it'll allow you to trim as needed if it stretches or splits from frequent removal

Also for the oil under the seat has been sitting in there for 6 years. How do i go about changing it? I didnt see a drain plug so i was just going to take it off and drain it. Is that the right way of going about it?

I'd do an oil delete and just mix the fuel/oil @ 32:1, as most of us do
there's nothing wrong with the stock injection, and many have proven it can work for years (I ran one 8 years)
but this is a unique situation where caution could be a good call ? .....

use a turkey baster to suck all the old oil out, or remove the tank and flush it with gas.
I'd be more worried about old oil in the line and pump, if oil can even go bad ?
maybe pull the line off the pump and flush the tank and allow it to drain up thru the line ?
flush the pump and line to carb and it's inlet port too ?
there is also a priming procedure for the pump itself in the manual, download the manual and do that too....
