3mil crank questions

I wanna put a 3mil in my blaster... what exactly do i need to do for it to be efficient cause i wanna keep stock bore and will ky 28mm keihin be good enough with my fatty
 
And is the vitos +3 worth getting... and will i need to do to get the max performance out of it
 
There's no replacement for displacement :D
IMHO well worth the extra price! I replaced a good crank because I was replacing cases. Ibelieve it comes with instructions. you do have to check rod clearance to cases. you pout crank in one half with piston and jug on. Calls for .020, I went .040, just because.

For MAX power you would have to have cyl ported. You could do some porting yourself however. If you don't use spacer plate you MUST have head rechamber for the stroker. Either way head mod will add power because the head design is not suited for max powwa.

BTW, I used the spacer plate with raised exhaust port, Fat Bastard pipe and run the stock carb no problems. Yeah, I could get more with a bigger carb, but I'm to old to stupid and fast!
 
I really wanna stay with my stock bore easier to get pistons where i live... just wanna get a little more pop outta my baby
 
My builder called today i decided to get the 3 mil and get everything ported will my 28mm keihin be ok with proper jetting or will i need a bigger carb

With the crank and port work there will be a. Very noticeable power gain.are you rechambering the head also. It's cheap mod. Your carb will work.
 
Yes did one i had before... had a drag port 240 la sleeve vitos 3mil stand up in 5th... this time i got agressive trail port as i ride more trails now... 68 3mil with head work to match stroke

Don't really know any numbers.your port and head mod are going to be different from the next person.its what your asz dyno says it is:D it should be a very noticeable difference over non ported cylinder:(
