How can I diagnose this problem? My blaster dropped power when I'm in like 4th gear roosting....if I'm in some slicker terrain and I'm snagging gears in powerband and the tires are spinning once I get into like 4th maybe fifth sometimes....the power drops out and I need to downshift to get it back....shouldn't I be able to just keep em spinning thru all gears in the band and not have a issue? Can it be a air mixture prob? Or jetting?

What are you riding in where you are spinning at full throttle thru 4,5,6 gear.if it is jetting you shall soon find out.

Higher gears=higher load=higher fuel consumption.might want to take a look at plug color.float hieght set to low.which will cause a bog

It's really cold out here the grounds pretty froze. If I'm snagging gears in the band first thru like 4th once it starts getting grip itll kinda lag....till I shift down again and I'm thi king my float height is set too low as well bc if I'm in 6th wide open not like over pushing them motor but steady cruising in sixth itll start to feel like its starving out and soon as I let the throttle back for a little and get on it again itll have the power......so does tht mean I'm letting the fuel catch back up until it then runs back low in the fuel bowl...bc it then starts to loose power again and i have to let off just as beforw

Oh and also my plug is pretty dark like I'm running rich....almost fowuled looking.....the timing is advanced I have a fmf gold series fatty w a shorty silencer boyesen reeds aftermarket ignition coil and my air box lid removed

Air filter clean or wet with that lid off.
Oh man, that bit my buddy in the rear really hard the one time we were riding the coal pits.
I second that, however, I experienced the same issue on Saturday with mine as well.

I've got to check my filter because I've already changed my plug out and the old one was fine, just a little wet and black. I want to assume it's a mix of the crap gas that was in the tank with old premix (shame on me) and new gas with new premix (what the hell was wrong with me).

By chance, do you run yours off of the oil injection system or did you delete yours and premix it?

Gas degrades rather quickly. Especially with ethanol in it. I wouldn’t use anything more than a few months old. If you can get RV gas (no ethanol) it would last probably twice as long. Stabil 360 will also help stretch it out. Problem is we have an open (to atmosphere) fuel system

You aint kidding
Don't get me wrong, I love owning my own home, but damn...it always creeps up on you when you least expect it. It's not so much things breaking in the house, it's the damn electric bill that always gets me because it's all over the place.
