How do you PM someone?

ok. as the title states im having trouble with the whole pm thing. ive read through the instructions in the faq ive even read a few mildly related posts but nothing has given any answers. ive tried the drop down box on peoples names, ive tried going to their profiles, oh yeah and AWK if you read this that friend request was my ultimately feeble attempt at getting a dialogue box so i could pm you to ask if you are still doing your brake kits ( so btw AWK are you still doing those? and how much do you charge cause the trengas that came on my bike suck @$$). basically what i wanna know is do you have to have a certain number of posts before pm is available? or is it my browser is being retarded? what? would be really nice to be able to ask a quick question of someone without starting a new thread or digging up a long dead but related one to draw attention to the question. as im sure you can tell im "new" here. ive been floating around sucking up info for some time though and i gotta say you guys are awesome youve helped me out more than even the local bike repair guy could and that was just with what was already in the posts. anyway...thanks in advance for any help.

nope no certain post amount to pm, just click under their usernme under their avatar on the left side of tehir post and a dialogue box will pop up. second one down is send a private message. Then title and your message.

Now you can also do it on their profile. Go to their profile and abover where you write a visitor message there should be a link that says send a private messgae. Click that and put in a title and message.

How to read recieved pm messages go to th upper right hand corner of the page. there should be a box that reads your username and under it will be notifications. Click that link and then clic the private messages link.

Hope this helps.

/\ not what they said, LOL

yes, we now have a 3 day/3 post rule to be able to Pm or email anyone.

luke, you now have 3 posts, now to get them 3 days under your belt !

anyway, i'm sending you the brake info, you may not be able to see it on here until the 24th ?
so i'll email it to the email address you used to sign up here.
email me back or get back to me when your messaging privaledges show up.

Good try guys lol. thanks AWK i had been wondering about the post count cause i didnt have even the guest msg box. good to know and ill def. pass that on if i catch anymore of us new dudes on here with pm questions. and thanks alot for the info on the brakes ive heard or should i say seen alot of good about them (although i think even the stock cables would be better than those damn trengas) and cant wait to get the money up to order some. btw do you have a choice on the caliper color? ive read that one person has the gold caliper yet have seen another persons pics with a black caliper...both said they had ur brake setup. no biggs either way. thanks for the help guys

Luke

@luke, i usually don't offer color choices, but the way these parts have been getting harder and harder to find as all one unit, for a decent price, i've found myself ordering calipers and masters seperately, so i guess .....your choice of color is no problem

Good information here. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I couldn't PM anyone.

Hey awk, would you be able to recommend a good rear brake system for a 2001 blaster? Can’t find anything being that it came with a cable setup

you'll need to buy banshee or raptor rear brakes and adapt them to your machine, it can be done with bolt on or weld on brackets.
I do not make sets any longer :(
