Hi all
Don't know if this has been discussed before but does anyone on here think the lock is terrible on there blaster I do alot of gravel and concrete driving and like to drift more so than just go flat out grip I find once I get to a certain angle which doesn't feel like a whole lot I spin out due to the opposite lock being very poor has anyone modified the hubs or the pitman arm (column flag) or are there any aftermarket parts available? Any thaughts or experience with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks

what do you mean lock
Turned all the way one way to all the way the other way is known as “lock to lock”
Have to be careful because if wheels turn to far you can’t turn them back. Steering stop on my son’s Banshee was bent& worn and it’d get stuck on full lock.

Blaster's are about as square of an ATV as you can get, so I'm not sure that's the best thing to use for drifting on pavement. Short wheelbase + wide-ish track = very tippy. If you want to get creative, measure the outside diameter of your rear tires. Once you get that measurement, find a piece of HDPE and measure the inner diameter. Cut it to roughly the same width as your tires and slap those babies over them.

Ye that's a a good idea but I've been on blasters all my life I'm 27 now had my 1st 1 when I was 12 I just lean down the opposite way to balance my weight and I have spacers and alloys all round now no problems with tipping over just problems when I push too hard and spin out if I could engineer a new flag out man arm to get more degrees it would help an awful lot the yard we use is an abandoned coal yard it's not as grippy as 1 might think, thanks for all the replies guys

Thanks for the Info. Ever even thaught of that, was it near 90 degrees when it would lock?
