Got the blaster rolling chassis a couple weeks ago and got it tore down. Got the motor out of the KTM keeping all original wires, throttle cable, and hydrolic clutch line. Going to do the dry fit soon but I've been sick so ill get back to it shortly. Thinking of a +4 swinger before the first test run to save a chain. Then suspension, a-arms, hubs/hydro fronts and rear brake/brake lever. Pics and updates soon. Thanks to all the swap peeps for their entry's and details

I’m actually going to keep the pipe original and make minor chassis mods to accommodate. I’ll be doing an engine mount removal and dry fit tomorrow. Maybe a little more time permitting. Not much time after work.

Hear a lot about gussets too. Pretty sure I know most of the spots to strengthen but this diagram shows the general idea I was thinking. Might add some angle to the base tubing lengths as well. Thoughts?

So a basic info on the dry fit. For the chain alignment it looks like I need to cut fairly deep into the sprocket side of the swing arm. Far enough to compromise the welded pocket. May have to make my own sleeve and re weld. After this I can get the engine down into it resting spot and focus on the pipe. It touches on both sides and needs to rotate back a bit. Also needs to slide a bit to the sprocket side. I think squashing the 2 angled supports will provide most of the clearance I need. Hard to guess much more from here but there’s my update.

Nice.whats the output on that engine?definitely gona need ..hydro brakes to slow that thing down

Damn, I can’t help but notice the beautiful pipe fitment. This things looks like it’s meant to go in this chassis.
