Toomey B1 or Fmf?

I’ve been looking to get a toomey b1 complete exhaust kit for the past couple days.

Is it worth the cash or I see most people have fmf.

Been trying to get toomey but everywhere is 3-5 weeks before I can get it. Then toomey wants $40+ for shipping whereas others offer cheaper price and free shipping. What a crap shoot.

Fmf is everywhere though


Thoughts? Better sound and power with Fmf or toomey?

Found more threads on this throughly this forum and others and also was able to keep messaging back and forth direct with toomey. Fast responses tonight and made the order happen. He said he’d ship one out right away Monday. Awesome! Can’t wait for the b1

i did. It’s amazing. Sounds great, runs amazing. I have 18’s on the back and this thing still pops right up. Definitely increases 3 and up.

I haven’t tried others, but for the price and just putting it on what’s mostly stock it’s A noticeable difference.

That's awesome!! I run 18's myself. With the vitos +3mm stroker and 240, fatbastered exaughst. I got another 89 blaster that I'm about to rebuild. Gonna keep it stock engine with a cfm airbox and the B1. Glad it worked out for you. I'd put some pictures on here but I cant get them to upload. What style riding do you do? And what jet size and needle clip position do you have it at?

as for the pictures. From my iPhone X it won’t upload any they’re too large. I’ve used Snapchat just to snap and save the picture and they’ll upload on here no problem.

As for riding I just tear up my front and backyard and ride through the fields and back property.

needle clip is middle (third slot) and jet is or was a 310. I put in a 300 and still a little too rich. I’m still chopping down but runs great great with stock air filter with air box and snorkel off.

Did you use the oem exhaust ring that goes on the cylinder at the flange? My exaughst leaks at the engine right there. Any ideas?

I did yes. Then used high temp rtv around the outside. Let it setup overnight and then good to go.

Yea, I finally put some exaughst sealant on mine from the auto parts store stopped the leak. Then I noticed oil between the head and the cylinder so I took the head off and put on a new gasket. Heated it up, re tourqed it down. And she ran great till I was in 6th wot for an extended period of time. Yea, blew my sh*t. Didn't have the correct jet in it.
