Hey guys I say a really good deal for some 2005 YAMAHA YFZ450 YFZ 450 REAR BACK BRAKE Online and was wondering if I could use this on my blaster. I know that I will have to fabricate it a bit but I think it should be good. I’ll attach a picture. It is a bit rusty but for the price I could try it out.

I did some research and it showed that basically most Yamaha Rear Brakes are basically all the same but I have no way to tell. I think this will work with some custom mods that I have to make.

Yep, the rear calipers and slide mount are basically all the same

FYI, you can use the floating caliper with the pre 03 floating disc. Just approximately center it when figure spacing the Cali out.
Wouldn't hurt to clean and lube/grease rotor splines.

Ok cool thanks. It’s going to be a lot of trial and error with this I think.

Two "errors" I made was I put the master in the "V" up/behind the peg which in turn made the leverage on the master wrong. Unless there's something wrong with the master or call I think it takes to much pressure on the brake pedal.
I used Warrior brakes which had a nice long hose for resivour which I was able to mount under the seat. There's even a little tab to mount it
