Hey guys. Building a custom blast for my son this winter I got a 2004 stock bike with out a motor and some odds n ends I'm thinking of doing a +4 swing arm with a 400ex shock and a banshee alxe wheel spacer two or no would that be 2 wide? I'm having ken do the motor for me I got a spare 240 vito with the +3 stroker hes going to do the porting an mill the head for me. Carb size and jetting would be helpful have a couple banshee carbs laying around would those be better then the stock one? And want a longer steering stem and suggestions? Going with the asr +3 a arms with the yfz shocks any other suggestions would be helpful thanks

Yea he does hes 16 been riding bikes and different quads for awhile now figured I would build him one of these always nice to pull up on people and they look at you on a blaster n laugh tell you take off like a screaming demon for sure lol

That's what I was getting at. IMHO a built Blaster is no joke.

My son didn't want me to port his Banshee because he said I made the Blaster too peaky :p. Just because I nearly doubled the power?
Ya, it rips hard
Just a little DIY porting and Fat Bastard pipe.

Sounds like a nice build, similar to mine. I was thinking of returning my blaster to stock before I sell it. I have a few of the parts you list (+2+1 A-arms with banshee brakes and spindles, PEP ZPS rear shock off a 250R, B1 pipe, YFZ rear hubs for some extra width..) let me know if you would want to go the used route on any of those parts.

How much for the front setup the arms with hubs and tierod
I was thinking $350 for the whole setup ready to run. Arms, tie rods, hubs/spindles, rotors, calipers, lines, master cylinder and lever.

Here are some pics from when I got them, can send more if you'd like.
