Brake pad suggestions

So I put GSXR rear caliper on awhile back. Wore out the pads that came with. Got me some no named sintered pads off eBay and wore them out in a couple of rides. Does anyone got any suggestions on a good pad that will last for awhile ? Or being that the brake is made for street bike is the mud and water going to eat up any pads I get?

I doubt it's excess mud , most are pretty similar, to a point. I'd suspect a mechanical issue.
Did both sides wear equally?

Double check that the caliper is floating freely. Take it all apart and clean and grease with caliper grease. Make sure there is no rust or pitting on the pins.

Maybe Awk will chime in, he sold a bunch of kits using those calipers.

If you did it yourself, post some pics of how you did it.

Are pads wearing evenly, if not mounting bracket may be jacked.

I did a conversion using warrior parts with stoxk rotor, so having a floating rotor AND caliper is not your problem.

Support rear axle and see if rotor is warped.

Pads wore evenly and everything seems to be working properly. Didn't think to check for warpage of rotor. If I get the chance I will post pictures tonight after work.

I've always used and had decent luck the sintered copper pads from ebay seller "partsangel" and they usually arrived within 3 days.
yes they wear kinda quickly it seems...... That's because they're actually working :)
2 sets a year are typical.
original cable brake pads will outlast both of us..... because they didn't work.

My kits were solidly mounted caliper on floating pre 03 disc
but really that shouldn't matter on an dual opposing piston caliper like the gsxr's, each piston will push out as need to promote even wear.
