Had to charge the battery and drain the fuel out of tank and carb as it was old and stinks.

After cleaning and checking it over, tightening up 2 loose bolts and replacing the gear shifter linkage with a brand new one that come with the bike as the one on the bike was loose. New fuel and charged battery, It started up fine with choke on and runs.

Photos of it at moment.

Now to work out why it will not idle with the choke off and it has popped a couple of times.

I then removed the carb and cleaned it making sure all holes are clean. Here is photos of the jets. Need to check if these are stock ones.

Interesting lever upgrade? Clutch or brake lever :) Stock they have a T shape lever and locks into the notches.

Video before I strip the carb. was able to get it to idle without the choke on. But the thing is not happy. Popping now and again and dies.

keep an eye on that parking brake or just get rid of it
can make it mess up as well

Had to adjust it as it wasn't working. Is now but yeah thinking about removing it.

Will pick up spark plug today.

Looks like the main air jet is wrong? Manual says #35 and mine looks be to 20. Set the Pilot screw 2 1/4 turns out.

I am riding at sea level to 100 meters altitude. 50F to 86F temperatures.

i have not even looked but does that carb have only a fuel enrichment screw
or does it have the airscrew as well?
i remember when i bought our ttr90 it acted like yours
i messed with the carb 3 times before i fixed it lol
it was starving for fuel i lowered the airscrew as it was set ridiculously
could not even get the thing to start at the guys house
anyways it was a fuel /carb issue:)

Just had a look and there is no wires or micro switches on the park brake system just the park brake cable.

Only adjustment on the carb is idle screw and Pilot Screw. And changing the jets.

Also no wires or micro switches on the thumb throttle.

Oh no. What have I done.

What you have done is wasted more money on protection. You lost about 10 years of man hood buying a 4 poke. Bought a slower fart can sounding ladies quad. Sell that piece fast and finish wall-e or go buy your old blaster back. Sorry truth is real :)

Carb back together and back on bike and starts but still got the same idle. miss popping sound.

New spark plug in tonight and has a lot of nice blue spark. Idles but still have the popping and will sometimes die after pop. May have to get a new set of jets and check the fuel tank filter.
