So I have been reading up as much as I can for the past couple days on the difference between the 2. The obvious choice would be the roundhouse. But what I cant seem to find out is with the blaster roundhouse, what carrier do I out in? Is there a "stock carrier" dimension out there that most bikes use? I can purchase a swing arm with a carrier already in but man the $$$$$ for that stuff is crazy!

LSR Swingarm with carrier = $890.00 (inc tax)

American Star Swingarm without carrier = $590.00

American Star Swingarm with carrier = $735.00

Swingarm Shop (eBay) = $350.00

I know you get what you pay for but I haven't really seen any negative things about the eBay swingarms, unless there is something I haven't read or seen. If I go with the eBay swingarm, what carrier can I put in it?

I know a few people on here run roundhouses so any help and info is appreciated!!

I just grabbed a used LSR roundhouse, but have yet to install it, I may be able to measure the carrier ?

the blaster and banshee stock carriers are the same besides width, and both axles will swap between the carriers,
makes sense that the roundhouses would be the same too ?
if thats the case, look for a banshee carrier on the "garage sale" page here.......

then message the swingarm shop on ebay and ask them if a banshee roundy will fit their blaster swinger ?

You know, I never even thought about messaging the swingarm shop as to what they build the roundhouse swing arm to fit what carrier lol. That may be the option I go with then haha.

emailed swingarm shop last night and got a quick reply this morning:

Hi, a blaster round carrier swingarm uses the same round style axle carrier as a banshee auction # 261181475201 is the best price I've seen with the brake stay bracket
Thanks

the item he listed is THIS one.

So $350.00 + $114.00 = $465.00. Sounds Much better than the $890.00 and the $735.00

I got a reconditioned Banshee Blue Anodized 35mm Twin Row Carrier, with new Twin Row Bearings and dust seals, from JJ and a arcing for $99. It was cheep because it was a little scratched up, but that was ok because i was just going to scratch it up more when i was making my swingarm.

Are the ebay round houses good or should i shellout the money for a american star im in canada so cost 1200

Well how are swingarm shop round house for 450 plus shipping would it not be better to get lonestar my stock is crack right down middle

no experience with the swingarm shops roundy's ?
their stock carrier swingers have gotten better due to better design than the older ones.

the only advantage I see to a roundy vs. stock carrier is ease of chain adjustment.
I can adjust a stock chain in under 10 minutes, so not worth the big $ in my book.
only reason I now have a LSR roundy is ...$125 shipped :)

I ended up just getting the stock setup, not a roundhouse. Wasnt worth the extra money in buying an entire new carrier when my stock on works just fine. Go with stock swingarm shop arm for 275 free shipping
