On my carb one i have it unhooked from thumb throtle has no gap with slide put it on the throtle and it does? Should there be alittle gap or no

most do not require a gap to idle, (my 34pj does)
see what it does when installed and running, adjust airscrew for highest idle, then adjust idle.
but no gap is common

well then i am stuck here confused. i hook it up to the thumb pullie and kick it 2 times fires up but does a high scream idleso i hit the kill switch un hooked it from the pullie kick it 2 times low nice idle. re ran the cable how it was before i had to rebuild it with it unhooked kicked it twice high idel but its not bound up in any spot i did not take slide out one i re ran it just re ran it so why is it doing this? how can i fix it?

I have adjusted everything idle where the cables goes into the body f the thumb throtle still there unhookbit from the thumb arm kick it twoce starts and idles perfect it held 7 pounds for 4 hours so no air leak needle is not bent clip is fine cable is on slide fine. Its just one i hook it up to the thumb throtle. But man does it sound mean one i pull the cable with hand. Should a 360 main be a opd start it has bored 10 over home port koc head mod . Fmf power core 1 with gold series pipe air lid removed woth a k&n filter? Its about 30 to 40 out

Better fat than fried. If it's not babbleing or bogging it's a good enough place to start. At least if it gets colder you'll be safe. Do you have 360 in now, or is that where you are going to start? If you still have tors "brick" on carb, pull the covers off and make sure both cables are seated corectly.
