So I've started on the r build. So far I've gotten it torn down and stripped the frame. Heres what I started with....

What's you plans for finishes? I know you did allot of chrome on the Blaster. Are you looking at any powder coating this time?
Judging by his blaster, and the aftermarket of a 250r,hells yeah.
Yeah, this thing is pretty rough. Somebody painted the frame pink then painted it red so I had to strip two layers of paint off. Heres some more pics of the frame after it was stripped and repainted red.
Thats as far as i've gotten so far. Motor wise its going to get an esr 330 bbk, 38mm airstryker. I'm not going to have anything polished on this one as of right now.
I gotta thank Whitty for the works front shocks!!!! I'll probably have to get-em revalved for the +2 lonestar's but that shouldn't be too bad. Already got the rear rebuilt. This will probably be my 180 drag quad. I've got my old lower kit that I can bolt onto it and with the bb cylinder it should be competitive?
Awesome build u got going bro. Will u be painting the plastics also or u gonna keep em the same color?
Not sure, more then likely it'll get tossed. All the chrome is worn off the slide but the quad did run before I bought it.
Right now the plan is for new red maier plastic. The plastic that came with it was originally blue but someone painted it white and its flaking off. They even painted the tank white!
