I have a 2003 blaster that i am parting out.

i just wanted to see exactly what parts i need to keep together to make a Conversion kit for the 2002 and older blasters.

For the front, from what it seems, the complete front spindle/hub/caliper/master cylinder assy would stay together, and be direct bolt on??

what is that complete setup worth?? also, ill be installing brand new wheel bearings and seals, as well as brake pads.

And for the rear, looks like the footpeg, pedal, master cylinder, caliper, and rear carrier would be a direct bolt on, except some tabs would need to be put on the frame for the master cylinder? again, what is it worth as a complete setup, with brand new bearings, and seals in the carrier, and brand new brake pads?

am i missing anything??

Im just looking to price the setups fair.... thanks for the help

I would say $300.00 for the whole set up. I mean just the rear set up is more than $500.00 on project blaster and then the blaster zone has the rear for $300.00. But then again people looking for cheeper hydro set ups will be looking for stock and would prolly shell out $200-$300 much quicker than the $800 for the full set up at PB.com

i still need to verify that i am including all of the needed parts.

also, do you mean $300 for the rear setup, and $300 for the front.?

I am not exactly sure what you need for the set up. I have never looked at the hydro brake. I was thinking maybe $300.00 for the whole set up. i would check ebay to better find price matches.

you need spindles hubs calipers rotors brake lines and master cylinder with lever
I believe that is correct.

that covers the front.... and i was pretty sure on that....

what about the rear??? that is most important.

i would go to ebay... but there is nothing comparable on at the moment to see..... thats why i was asking you guys.

im mainly concerned that i am including all of the needed parts.

for 02 and older u need a bracket for the caliper to mount thats about it cause mine would have fit but i dont wanna make a bracket... im selling mine

if i sell the complete kit... i can just include the 03 carrier with it right? that way you dont need to make anything special... just switch carriers

that is what im trying to find out... i would like to sell it as a complete kit so you dont have to make anything

yeah either make a custom bracket to fit the 02 and under or just include the carrier. how many of these do you plan on selling? or is just this once?

just 1.... im parting out the quad.

but i want to make sure im including all of the correct parts to make it work real easy for someone.

man, your one of those nice guys. i wish i managed to come across people like you when buying sh*t. 3/4 of the time people dont give a sh*t if you need extra sh*t or have todo a bunch of modding. they dont tell you. then u get it and your like SOB.

just thought maybe you were going to sell the kits because you have that store...

yep... i try my best... i do this full time... so i like to carry a good reputation....

it is just ashame that i couldnt get any good answers on here about what was needed.

As someone who has been fighting with their front hydro setup, here's what you'll need:
  • Both Sets of Front Control Arms
  • Master Cylinder
  • ALL Brake Lines (including the distribution tee)
  • Calipers
  • Hubs
  • Spindles
  • Rotors
  • Pads
To ease installation, just remove the shock bolt, and a-arm bolts and the whole front comes off.

And you're right about the rear, but you would also need the axle. The 2003 to 2006 axle is different than 2002 and back.

Around my area, people are selling the fronts alone for almost $500.
I bought mine for $150 and it's been...a mess to put it lightly.

I bought a rear setup off a fellow member here, Jesse Colon.
It's an old-school Trenga Racing setup, so I couldn't tell you how much the rears go for.
