Helmets required in pics

I'm going to make this simple for everyone instead of having members arguing back and forth. So there will be a poll on wether helmets should be required in pics and vids. If the rule passes it would only be enforced for pics and vids of the quad in motion. If you want to take a pic next to your quad you DO NOT need to have a helmet with you! Helmets WILL only be required if you are riding your quad Enjoy and vote!

same. my last crash. if i dident have helmet and ace collar, my back wouldent have been the only thing hurt. probs would have broke my neck and got a major cuncusion, and mybe ko. the kid in front of me did. he spraind his back hurt his neck, and got knocked out. then i almost hit him after i landed the jump because flaggers werent paying attention! so i was the first on the sene. the kid dident make the race sunday. he went home 1 hr after.

I wear my helmet 100% of the time. i think it is stupid to ride without one, but I don't see the need to ban pictures and videos because of it. I think if parts of the leading country in the world dont feel the need to even have helmet laws, showing pictures on a website is pretty harmless...

I too wear my Helmet 100% of the time while riding , and I've called out anyone here on the forum for posting pics and vids without proper safety gear , and was verbally attacked for it multiple times . This rule goes for ALL , Mods , Admins , Members either supporting or not and it doesnt matter if you have 5 or 5000 posts . NO EXCEPTIONS .
Whats the punishment for it? Warning , Ban ? or just deletion? . I'm glad its finally being dealt with properly .

Think about it like this: most of us have been riding for a very long time (me since I was 3) and if NEW riders see US without helmets they will think 'hey THEY aren't wearing them so neither do I' and then say they are ripping down a trail and BAM! Tree limb to the forehead and now they are a vegetable. I've personally been saved from that EXACT experience by a helmet.

I'd also like to suggest something else:

Still photos of your bike under construction, or sitting in your shop or yard don't need a helmet in them. But if it's out on a visible trail/dunes/lake/etc it should have a helmet in the picture to show that one is being worn. Idk, just something I thought of

This isn't definate but probably something like this. Once the poll is closed then I'll post a thread for the other mods to check out and we'll come up with a set of rules and then post them for all the members to read and follow.

First offense = warning and post deletion
2nd offense = infraction
3rd offense = 7 day ban
4th offense = perm ban

I think something like this would be fair for everyone

+one hundred thousand million. It's ok to do it cause it's thinning the herd, survival of the fittest kinda thing but for fuqs sake don't brag about it.

Not straight away. Just have their stuff editted like everyone without a helmet. Doing it again could call for something more severe.

I voted yes. It gives a better image for the forum. I've seen lives lost from no helmets and lives saved from helmets. There's groups of people that would love to see a ban on Quads and other forms of offload enjoyment. There allways looking for ammo and we shouldn't help supply it.

might i add one more little tidbit to all this............

i believe this rule, if it passes, should only apply to pics and vids of quads actually being ridden, in motion.

standing beside it posing, sitting on it stationary, groups of riders standing around beside them, hell....even foolin around with your girlfreind on it, should not be governed by this rule, those pics should still be ok without a helmet on ??????
