i almost have all the parts.i won this superior sleeve big bore kit on ebay without knowing banshee's cases shouldnt be mismatched.but i found the bottom case half and the guy lives in canada so that was a bonus.heres some pics of the massive pistons and jug.i just need a good hotrods trued and welded crank then its build time :) oh and some cr125r intake boots
the smaller piston is a 68mm blaster piston

I almost bought that kit!
If memory serves it was an extreme odd ball kit with a ridiculous 85mm bore (same as the blasty) and a stock 54mm stroke.
Even with the smaller 77mm bore it's a monster 503cc's that should rev out pretty good.
Pretty awesom you got it- small world. I can't wait to see it running.

yup i cant wait to hear it roar.just need a few more pieces then its good to go.
i admit i almost gave up once i found out i needed the original bottom end case.but ill have it soon after the holidays,which reminds me have a merry xmas Everyone I:I

Many times banshee cases have been mis matched with good results but yes it is much better to have a matched set.
 
ill keep you guys updated as much as possible.so far i got 2 38mm mikuni carbs off a polaris 500 rmk,im starting to polish em and i might just send em off to get them done right.i have the superior sleeve carb boots lined up so thats another bonus friggin cant wait till payday :)
 
Weird. I know you've had issues with this build/seller, but would think if he had it running with that case half the ex would have cleared. If you can get ahold of him ask about it. Maybe it's supposed to have a base plate like a 4mil stock cyl? How hard is it to get pistons or rings? Dry fit the cases bare and feel the shaft bores to make sure they are aligned.

i thought the same possibly when just looking at the studs. they would need a couple washers to let the nut screw on far enough to hold down on the cylinder. :-/

throw a piston on the rod, slide the cylinders on, turn it over and see whats up.
 
it came with stud spacers.i was meaning the pipe wasnt going to fit because of the motor mount.
i wont be able to test the piston on the rod till after new years.need to order a hot rods crank

yeah i see what you are saying.. it either needs a spacer under the cylinders or some of the mount material removed. someone that knows how the cylinder is setup could help, like the guy you bought it from.
