Hello all, just learned of this forum. I am very impressed will all the Blaster lovers here and the mature infomation exchange. Very cool sight.
Here's a Stk stroke/cylinder blaster we just started working on. Cylinder is 68mm bore. 39pwk Carb, custom intake, v-force 3 reed, head reconfigured/o-ringed, custom race pipe. This setup is for pump/race gas mix.

Trying again...lol

Sorry about the quality. I did test on the right computer last time to save the files on a puter that is connected online. I'll try to do better soon. :)
The above motor is in developmant stages right now. It is a pretty happy setup as pictured, but I believe that we can make the curve stronger still. I might get back on it today...Is there a better section on the sight for dyno sheet posting? On this dyno, a correctly jetted stock blaster will be in the 16hp range. With air cleaner/snorkel mod, or a pod filter they are a lil higher.

nice results man! did you use a pipe that is already in production or build a complete new design? i think your post is fine where it is IMO.

Thank you. Here is todays results; it's still very safe and happy on pump/race gas mix. The motor was staying in the low 100deg range after a series of runs. After another 3hrs of pipe mod/testing session, I pluged in my laptop to get some data on it. This should be a little easier to read than the phone pic. lol

47 horsies out of a stock stroke and cylinder ....hmmmmmm
sounds a little over exaggerated or dyno manipulated

we're gonna need more specs on this

That's not a surprising assumption. No offense taken. And the fact that it seems hard to believe we consider a compliment.
A great way to verify dyno numbers is a direct comparison. We can do that on most Saturdays in Sacramento, Ca. . Come on over, or send your friend. :)
We typically use the track and time slips to back them up also. But the Blasters are not the biggest requests for the track motors. Most, if not all, of our previous Blaster builds are running on the dirt/dunes. So a friendly drag race might be the best verification you could find.
Yet we would love to have a dyno shootout on our dyno, or even go to someone elses. While we are in California, and have had many motors on other dynos accross the country, so that we are pretty confident that our dyno is very realistic.
Thanks for your comment.

The simple answer is that the pipe in all three runs posted are a Shearer stamping that we have modded.
The pipe testing is ongoing, however. We have tested several pipes not availible yet that show great promise, and a modified CPI looked very good as well, but so far the modified Shearer has the nicest curve and the most peak power. I hope be testing another version from Shearer on this setup as soon as I can. We also have one of our own pipes that work well on a bigger versions that we have yet to test.

I would be awesome to see a dyno on a all stock blaster motor VS your motor and a list of all the mods you did to get the power.... Is the dyno at the rear wheels or at the sprocket????????

Strokedtater, This little bike is a hill shooter. It will likely run only run at Pismo Beach, Sand Mountain NV. It might make it to the track at ATOKA, OK- "jus-4-fun".
Next Blaster on the agenda is a bigger version, on alky. How long swinger have you built? :)

cool..im glad to see more people taking interest in them. we have been drag racing them for about 6 years now. they can really scoot when setup right.
