:( Kimball Bottoms are flooded till maybe fall :eek::eek:
Even then not sure if the road that lead to the riding area won't be washed away. Last time I went was about a month ago, The road by the water is on an outside bend of the river. That looked to be about 300 ft or so to the cliff from the road then. Yesterday went to see if the area would still be open to go riding this weekend, No go. They blocked off the area and the main road has water over it. Which is still a mile before the designated riding area. :( Was hoping to scout changes down at the dessert, And run through a few mud holes. :p

flooded til fall? is someone overestimating that? that really sucks ass.

No, ice melt north of that drives the river outwards for a long time. Not until the weather cools down and the ice melting stops will the river recede.

Sucks it cut off your riding spot.

oic, wasn't thinking about the snow melting. duh! *puts on dunce cap*

hopefully you find somewhere else to ride dude.

Montana's snow pack is 20% more than past years, plus above average snow and rain this spring. The river is up 4ft from norm. Already had fears this spring during ice melt with ice jams on the river flooding back in late February. The corp is expecting above average release till fall from the dam so??? Won't know till later this summer at best. One thing is if bismarck, mandan does flood some, I'll be busting my a$$ off working. The high end houses are along the river and will likly need repairs for water damage. I do drywall work so that will be a boost for me. Just sucks that there aren't any other really decent legal areas to ride. :(

if ya ever need a place to go ride when stuff like this is happening let me know i go down to goodrich with my cousin no spectacular trails but atleast sumthn usually a little mud and some fishing spots

oh and i never got to see garrison dam but i could only imagine i stood on the dam at lake darling and that thing alone shook the ground pretty bad couldnt imagine garrison and the one up in canada

Pretty cool Vid! I like all the angles! Sucks about the flooding, mother nature is creul sometimes!
