this should answer some questions about the front shocks on a raptor 250.
i just bought some rappy 250 front shocks hoping they would work, here is the answer: yes they actually bolt right up, you can even use the stock hardware. they are almost a half inch shorter, thats about the only difference.(it did drop the front end almost half inch) as for the ride it is alot better. seems softer, i have not fully tested them yet but can already tell a difference. i can only compare them to the stock blaster shock and can not say that they would be better then the banshees or the Mojave but if you can find a cheap pair i would recommend them.

yeah i think they would be better, riding my buddies raptor 250 is soooo much smoother than my blaster.

id say that they are an upgrade. i noticed how bad the back suspension was because how good the front is now. if anything i would move the adjuster up one to make it a little more stiffer. and since the raptor is newer then the banshee, theoretically they should be in better shape as far leaks go. it would be nice to compare the two to see which one is the better ride.

Old as it is, the Banshee shock is more like a dual rate shock. That Raptor shock has about 9 windings. The banshee has bout the same wide winds plus another 5 tight winds. I think it's a production cost thing, not a preformance thing. I'd be surprised if the 250 Raptor shocks preformed better than the Banshee shocks.
