Removing the crank from the case

Hey guys working on my rebuilt and having a hard time getting the crank out of this side of the case any tips.

If you don't have a case splitter, that rubber mallet.

I use a 3 jaw puller from harbor freight and long bolts into the stator bolt holes, push that crank right outta there

Will do just separated it incase others were wondering about the crank and not my whole.

Like awk said, use harmonic balancer puller. But beware the bearing will be stuck on the crank, happens every time I split cases, then you need to get bearing off crank thats always fun.

What is the best way to get the bearing off the crank if this happens or when this happens ;-)

Harbor freight makes a puller. I think they call it a bearing separator. Goes underneath and around the bearing so it can be pulled off the shaft.

I'd be scared of this ^^^. I like the puller because it attaches way closer to the crank. A press would be further from the crank. Not flamin, just sayin
