Reeds and jetting

Hey speedy if I take my stock reeds out to flip them for now until I get my VForce 4's can I use yamabond to seal everything up being that I don't have new gaskets at the moment?

You can use Yamabond to seal the reed block and carb boot.

Leak test before starting the engine..

So yamabond on both sides of th3 base gasket and where the intake touches the cage?

Correct, do not over tighten the bolts for fear of warping the cage and creating an air leak.

Stick to the specs...

As you can see in the photo, the bottom bolt area where the intake is has some oil around it, not too crazy though

And why the heck do two of my clutch cover bolts look like this??

Internals look good though. Gasket is still in decent shape but I got some yamabond 5 I'm gonna use instead of the gasket
