Okay so when I start my blaster it idles but after a couple seconds it's no longer a nice idle it starts screaming out... also if I hit the gas it won't go back to idling just takes off from there... could be my throttle cable being dirty? But even if I don't rev the engine the idle grows louder and louder... please help with some things to try. Thank you

for a short answer first try the airscrew
fully seat it to the right then back it out 1 1/2 turns =540degrees
it is either getting to much air or not enuff gas
or you have a vacum leak on the engine sucking in unwanted air making engine rev up
make sure your spark plug is not gapped to close either or just get a new ngk b8es plug
and install it.
carb plus idle 1 1 2 big 1 1 1 (1).jpg

[ATTACHi I'll try thank you=full]31566[/ATTACH]
Okay, I will try that. Thank you in advance really starting to scare me

if it does not have a airleak somewheres
then it is just a free flowing fuel problem
or your carb is whacked lol
check the reed valves to if you take carb off
your biggest concern is if the engine is air tight
the reason i mention the plug is because if it is too close it could give same results
maybe not always....
look through the other thread you wrote on for those help full links to:)

Thank you, will have to find diagrams and check those things out tomorrow hopefully it's just the screw being backed out to far/or not enough

make sure top cover #2 is tight in image above as well
they come loose and act like it is pinning itself:)
Any order to get to number 2? Like is it inside of the carb? Sorry I'm a new owner just trying to get into it no background information ... sorry lol

If I don't have carb cleaner go get it or will dish soap water work to clean?
NO get a can of carb cleaner it eats away at gummed up fuel/gas
you can wipe it with a clean rag or summin but
make sure you align the slide up when you put it back there is a notch in the slide that aligns with carb
CARB SLIDE ALIGN 1.jpg

This is the carb, no carb cleaner yet, soon tho she'll be shiny. Did what you said and the rpms while idling still start to sky rocket after idling for couple seconds until I hit kill switch
