Managed to pick up a 1988 Blaster, in really good condition ... just needed a carb rebuild (or so I thought). Seems that now that carb rebuild is done the bike won't stay running and looks like I need to do more work to it. Floats, petcock and a good tune up are on the list - thus far. Given this, I think that I would like for someone with some knowledge of Blasters to do a total look over of the ATV and maybe also do the fine tuning of it.

Anyone know of a place that will work on a 1988 Blaster in Maryland?

Would like to stay close - like Annapolis or Baltimore areas and in between ... just to avoid having to travel for hours. So anything reasonable from BWI airport would work.

Did you check into removing the TORS? (Throttle over-ride system) the problems associated with the TORS will cause engine to bog out when you depress the fuel lever.

Float height and airscrew adjustments have everything to do with idle, DIY's can be found in the carburetor section.
It will also need to have acceptable compression of 100+
