Need Plastic Restoration Help

Restoring my blaster and need to get back my glossy red shiny finish on my plastics
here's the gas cover
if heard of wet sanding and stuff but what is officially the best way to go about it

I have seen people use a heat gun on there fenders to remove that white fading before and using heat gun brings the plastic back to glossy. Look on YouTube there is a lots of videos on restoring plastics. I myself have used a heat gun on blue Yamaha plastics and they come up better then when I got them.

Using a heat gun is an easy way to restore plastics. Just don't concentrate too much on every spot.
