Need help with tors removal

So bought a new carb but it doesnt have that notch in the side for the tors box throttle lever part. How do i get my carb cap off to get the new one on and get that notch part off too its an aftermarket kit 1996 yamaha blaster thats 230cc ive torn it apart and put it back together but that specific part i dont now how to remove.

Way did you buy a new carb?
Was is a cheap ebay one of OEM blaster one?

Are you wanting to keep the TORS? Just remove the TORS system and buy a TORS delete kit that comes with the cap.

Just put a spanner on the brass nut above cap and remove that part. Shows it in the parts catalogue a image of it apart.
