Ok let's start at the beginning I bought a suzuki lt230 it wouldn't start I changed the piston and rings and it started right up I rode it for about a week or two everyday it would cut out real bad when I got to high rpms than it started smoking blue smoke and I parked it any suggestion on Y the blue smoke and the cutting out

Did you hone the cylinder, if not the rings will not bed in and make a good seal.

Also if there is no crosshatching to retain oil for lubrication, the rings will run dry in the cylinder and wear will happen.

The new scraper ring will wipe a glazed cylinder free of oil.

No I did not hone I'm new to the whole atv thing

Not successfully, some will say that you can scratch the bore with emery cloth to provide hatching, but unless the scratches are a uniform depth and angle, you waste your time.
