maier race front question

i ordered the maier race front hood, and i was wondering if i have to move the key some where else? if so, where should i move it to?

i would think about extending the wires and putting it under the seat somewhere if you really want to keep it, or put it on the bars like the 88-02 blasters have

You can ether drill a hole in the side of the new hood for the key if there's room or you can just delete it. You can even get the older dash that mounts to the bars for your key switch.

or drill a hole in thr right fender, and put it there.

couldnt i just drill a hole where the oil light is, take it out, and put the key switch there??
