Ok so here I go haven't been on in a while but I just got some main Jets I'm gonna list my mods n setup n we can shoot the sh*t about it.
Ok fmf gold series fatty with dg silencer
Stock carb size and internals
airbox lid holes
14tooth front
40 rear
Tors delete still have the unit just did the wire delete for now
+4 timing adv
Oil inj delete
Rebuilt top end 66mm stock bore stock stroke new gasket kit all around
I'm at about oh 500 to 1000 in elav
I run 32 to 1 gas oil

Just wanting to bs about the jetting to start with I read a thousand times about plug chops and so forth but just stead of reviving an old thread I figure I'd make my own
I bought some 250 260 270 280 main Jets genuine mikuni
I'm not currently home wont be for over a week to do my chops I'm at work on a towboat
 
May wanna buy 290, 300 i ran a 280 on practically same set up but im at 248 elevation, where did you get the jets? Im in need of 310 - 330 and lastime my yamaha dealer sold me some crap ones i threw them out, they were not real mikuni
 
Being WV presume sea level ? What temps do you have?
What kind of riding? If you do a lot of WFO you want to slightly rich.
Low speed technical trails you can be a little leaner.
It never hurts to be on the safe side, can't burn down.

FMF calls for 260 main @70* With modded lid I would start with a 280 plug chop, work your way down.
