idle problem

I have a blaster that would not idle until I got a carb rebuild kit had someone install and was good for 2 days now back to not idling and carb is leaking gas now

The reason for the poor idle may be because of the leaky carb.

Clean the needle and seat and adjust the float.

Cheap eBay carb kits! They suck, get a new Yamaha kit and be sure to check your float for gas inside floats . Hold it under in a glass of gas . If it bubbles replace it! Then install kit and new float. Set the float height level. Do not push down on the resilent ( rubber tipped) needle! Reinstall carb simple.Peace
