I need help!

I borrowed my little brothers 2000 blaster and about 30 mins into the ride it made like a screach from the motor and lost power right after the back wheels locked up. Now I can kick it over it won't budge. I don't know a whole lot about a 2 stroke engone. I feel awful my little brother loves this blaster and I want to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like the piston seized. Did you have 2 stroke oil in the tank under the rear fender?

1st off get the service manual if you haven't already.

Sounds like big brother is paying to rebuild little brothers engine. You will have to pull the cylinder etc to see for sure but I agree with Mark. Sounds like the piston and or crank have seized up and is time for a rebuild.

if you are lucky the flywheel/stator has jammed itself=the plastic cover by foot shifter take it off look at it
otherwise it is the engine/transmission
something has to come off to inspect take your pic.
you can take exhaust off and look up through cylinder
take flywheel cover off look at the flywheel stator
take cylinder head/and or cylinder off
something has to come off look for broken metal/shavings ect
