i need a little help here

ok im puttin the thumb throttle bak on my blaster becasue my cable broke with the twist throttle n i dont feel like buyin another one but im confused on how 2 get the needle outta the slide so i can disconnect the cable can some one try to explain it for me plz

should be a spring that allows you to compress the whole assembly and the cable should push out the end..
