I guess this counts as a full rebuild. Cosmetic wise she's in pretty sad shape. But the good news is she runs excellent. My neighbor turned her over to me for a whopping $100.
When I payed up I was ready to push her across the street. Only to be asked why...... mixed up some gas. Primed the carb. She fired up 2nd kick no choke. So already feeling good about it. Loud as a pack of them since the silencer was missing.
That problems solved a quick check on Craigslist produced an FMF powercore for $30.
But yeah for $130 invested I'm feeling good. She'll need a few bucks more invested to look good. But right now I'm focused on function. I had vaguely known of their reputation. But never owned one til now.
