how much oil for the tranny

I have a 02 blaster and was wondering how much oil u need in the tranny.

I know theres the number on the side but how much is it in ml's?

its right around 1/2 to 3/4 quart i do believe i was also told by yamaha that its .70mill i think but who knows with those guys right..there is another thread in here somewhere that says if u look around in here

its .74 quarts- or 3/4 of a quart, you should have a level gauge on the bottom side by the kick starter, make sure your sitting level and fill it till that guage is covered. you may need to clean it off, its just a small circular window, but thats what its there for, or just add 3/4 of a quart. i run full synthetic 10-30 but whatever motor oil you choose works fine. happy riding

should it cover the sight glass or be between the two lines on the sight glass?

i knew i was close with .70 i would messure it out man its the easiest

i run a quart everytime to keep the clutch pushrod lubricated. i was told it is better to overfill blasters

over filling it could blow some of the seals! Not saying it will but it could!

should be in the middle on the sight glass.
any kind of oil is not o.k.... you need wet clutch oil.

10w30 wet clutch oil.... seriously.
