hey anyone know whats wrong with my rancher?

so recently when riding,my rancher has been stalling and turning off,but it will turn back on when i re start it..it does it sometimes when i shift gears or turns off randomly,any idea what the problem is?

Is it doing it only when your not giving it throttle ?

How does it idle? Can you rev it not in gear and have come back down to idle without stalling? I'm trying to determine if it's carb or electrical .

yes it can idel and i can rev it and it come back down i think,cant really remeber.

and i notice it does it when i rough spots on the trail but runs fine when im out on pavement in the high rpms.

Kinda sounds electrical. Start it up and go along all the wire harness and wiggle the wires and see if it stalls. You may have a rubbed bare wire or loose ground.
