ok heres the deal, I busted a bearing in the rear axle messed carrier and all that good stuff so i got a new complete rear axle and carrier off ebay installed it now my chain dosent fit, it fit fine on the other with extra slack, the sprockets are the same 40 tooth, the funny thing is the chain only has 90 links i think it should have 92 (correct me if im wrong) but it fit perfect on the other setup
could the short chain have caused the bearing to bust
any help would be nice

sounds to me like the adjustment is out. have you tried adjusting it in?

as for how many links the chain is supposed to have, idk.

odd. was the chain thrown (literally broken and thrown) when the bearing let go?

if the chain is to tight while riding it will cause stress on that axle, and your front sprocket and drive shaft. 92 links is stock, and you need about 1.5 inches slack on the chain with noe load on the bike.
