ok i just took my 03 blaster out for a ride.. when i got home i shut it off and looked in the trany window and there was no oil!!!! but before i rode the oil level was perfect. if i let it sit the oil level will come back up. is this normal???? it kind of scares me plz let me know asap i want to ride again and not have worry about it messing up my motor.
help me plz

Was it blowing white stinky smoke? If not gotta figure where it went. Even if the drain plug fell out there would be oil all over.

thing is when the motor turns, the oil that normally lies in the gearbox as a result of gravity is piked up by the gears,clutch etc and is spread all over in the works there. when you stop, the oil has a chance to settle again. it is normal for this to happen, but i would recommend you drain all the oil from the bottom of the engine and fill up with 650ml of auto transmission TYPE F oil. or Yamalube Transoil just to be sure
