Having troubles with my blaster

So I bought a Yamaha blaster the other day and it was running great for the first two days and then I was riding around and all the sudden I start hearing a knocking noise and then the bike died it started right up and I limped it home I couldn't get it past 4th gear without it bogging out where do I start??

Take off the air box top off if it runs better it's too rich if it run worse it's too lean simple
