i just recently installed a uni filter and removed the airbox lid.
i put in the FMF DXP360 Main (don't know the real size..it doesn't say)

my blaster is harder to start now.

i have a good spark.
carb is clean.
plugs are golden brown / mocha colored.
compression is 120 p.s.i.
it takes about 5-7 kicks to get it to start.

once i get it warmed up, it will restart just like it used to.. with one kick.

my only thought is that maybe with my new main jet i am getting too much gas to start easily...

any other thoughts?

i am concerned for my quad...ha

does it seem like the compression is more on first start it could be getting so much gas that it is close to vapor lockin..i had a old camero that did that just a guess..it would take it longer to start if it is getting to much gas

i just read another post, with someone talking about closing the petcock and letting it die from no fuel, thus clearing the bowl...

then opening the valve when i am ready to ride again.....
i'll try that soon...

but any other help would be great.

and bigdblaster..... i am not sure if it is doing that or not...i'll try to notice next time.
