firstly check if your new bike has its autolube system in tact. If so, Id suggest you run it like that until you learn a bit more. In that case, look for oil in the rear bottle under the plastics and check your kicker side of the carb to see if there is a little black pipe connected to it coming from behind the cover on the side of the engine. If thats all in check, you can use a 2 stroke oil in the oil bottle like yamalube, motul etc, nothing junk!
If you do not have the autolube system (been removed by previous owner) you need to mix your fuel. So, we all mix at 32:1.This means 32 parts fuel to 1 part oil (+-3%). Work this out carefully before mixing and off you go! So if you mixing 1l of fuel, add 30ml of oil etc etc.
We're do I pick that oil up
It's got an autolube system so just put gas in the gas tank an that good oil in oil tank under the plastic correct????no walmart or chainsaw oils !
use a good 2 stroke oil designed for air cooled machines.
my choice is Maxima Super M, blue label for mix, green label for injection
Yamalube 2s or 2r works good too. (not marine 2w )
any good cycle shop should have both, or be able to get it for you
ebay works too.....
